I can only assume your boo core was a bit thick.
Dont think that was it Kent.

Before glueing up I measured both limbs and the total thickness was .374, altho I did use calipers to measure them.

Yesterday I went and brought me a Micrometer and will do all my future measuring with it.

Ok I have the lams all ready for the new limbs.

Gonna change the wedges tho

Instead of Leopardwood I am going to laminate Redheart, Purpleheart and Bubinga lenght wise so from the sidethe different colors will run along the limb and the back of the wedge when finished will compliment the riser

I have never seen laminated wedges before and I think they are gonna look cool[8D]

Remind me to go over to your house and teach you how to read a micrometer.

Steve.

I still have no idea of what I am going to do the tip overlays with yet, but be sure I will find something that'll look good

Hoping to have it finished this week end

Russ, how bout some gold or silver overlay on the tips as much as you're spending on it. If I ever get back to building knives again, I'll spilt elk anter tips between you and Kent.

He should have plenty of elk antlet left! I sent him a whole shed.I have some sterling silver at dads,if you can adhere it maybe get him to do some scratching on it! Give me a measurement or shape and we can go from there since this is one of a kind project!

It's been that long since youve been here, you need the directions again
