Well thats it forChads hunting limbs, all I have to do to them now is put the tip overlays on and sand them.
They came in too heavy for target limbs, I was given the wrong thickness for the lams, thinking about making his target limbs out of Makore on the belly and Canarywood on the back

That way he wont get them mixed up

Just about to make a start on the target limbs, the glass arrived yesterday.
Here is what I have come up with.
Massaranduba Redwood and Canarywood

While they are in the heat box I will also put the tip overlays on the hunting limbs

Ok the 1st of the target limbs are in the heat box.
Here they are in the form ready for the air hose and the top of the form.

Here is the form all together.

Then with the hose pressurised to 60lb.

At this stage double check and make sure none of the lams have moved
Then place in the heat box for the next 4 hours or so.

The first one is out of the heat box cut and sanded to shape with the string grooves.
Please take into consideration that these pics don't do the limb any justice.
First the Redwood.

Now the Canarywood.

Will get the other limb done tomorrow and tiller them, then it will be back to work on the riser
