I have been offered a job in Odessa and was wondering what the hunting was like in the area? I know accoring to the annual book put out by the state they have whitetail, muledeer and, turkey seasons. I was wondering how the hunting actually was?

Dirt. Lots and lots of dirt.

Montahans,Crane, Eldorado, and New Mexico are within driving distance.Ive seen many Mullies in that area, especially towards Pecos.

I'm in this not so glorious part of the country...actually I love it here! If you want to hunt in and around Odessa/Midland it all depends on how much you make and who you know. Most the folks hare abouts make decent money but travel to hunt, let me know when you get here and we can get together and I'll give you the ten cent tour if you don't know much of the area...45 years living here I know most nooks and cranies!
