RE: Do you think I Can
That rose wood looks a lot like goncalo alves. Nice to work with wood that pretty and not have the head aches that come with a wood like alves. You should get some very nice risers and tips out of that. I know I said im done with the staves for a while, but I just cant help myself. Ive got a nice ipe bow going right now. It will be bamboo, osage with an ipe belly. Should make a fast bow. After this one, im going to start back with the lam bows.

When I seen it I had no problem pulling out the credit card
Not only because it is a beautiful piece of wood but I also got it for a great price

On a side note sorry I didn't answer last night I was busy fighting off a bunch of dirty hippies at the Jordan Center for the Allman Bros and Grateful Dead show.

Looks like some good firewood Russ... Just give it to me, and I'll get rid of it for ya..... All kidding aside that is a very oily wood should work great, I bought some for knife handles once. It has a natural preservative due to the high oil content, you might not want to seal it when your finished.

Bob.
Being an oily wood I will have to soak in in acetone before I can glue it up otherwise the glue wont take.
