Yeah mate this is the bow I will be hunting with

Just got done doing the shelf and sight window it's looking sweeter all the time

These pics really dont do it any justice tho.

Still have a little sanding to do but gee all the colors really stand out it's gonna be beautiful when I get it finished, even if I say so myself

Mark.

Brother it was not me who was making everyone wait

I just took the tape off the back of the limb oh man that Black Walnuthas somenice swirls in it, I would take a pic but I dont think it would do it any justice.

Here are a couple of pics to give ya'll a rough idea of what she's gonna look like when finished

The pics just dont do her any justice.

From the front.

The back.

The tape on the back has my center line on it so I can put the drilling jig back on to drill the 5/16" hole through the limb for the locking bolt.

I will pick upa drill bit tomorrow dont know what happened to the one I had, maybe the gremlins who have plague me throughout this build have hidden it

Have not done too much to the bow today had some personal business to take care of.

Iwill try and get some more done tonight.

I did take another couple of pics that this time they do the bow justice.

First the Cocobolo on the front of the limb.

Black Walnut on the back side of the limb.

It might not shoot worth a crap but she is sure gonna look purrrrrrrrdy

Well I hit another stumbling block.

So far with this bow what could go wrong has gone wrong.

I just took the second limb out of the heat box to find out the air hose had exploded totally screwing up the limb[:@]

So I will be on the phone first thing in the morning ordering a new hose and hopefully they will let me order the materials for just 1 limb.

So I am not going to be hunting with this bow next week end

If they let me order the materials for 1 limb it is going to take another 2 or 3 weeks to get it[][>:][X(]

Oh the trial and tribulations I am going through for a bow

So what are you doing with an air hose? Is this for your form? Instead of clamps. Sorry your having so much trouble.

Mark.

Yep it's for the form, once everything is in the form and the top of the form is bolted in place I put 60lb of pressure into the hose so I have uniform pressure throught the limb or 1 piece bow.

Sorry your having so much trouble.
Trouble seems to be the norm for this bow

But I will get it finished and hopefully I will be able to go on another hunt and try and tag something with it

As for next week ends opener it looks like I am gonna have to use the dreaded compound which I have not shot for the best part of 6 months due to the herniated disks in my neck.

Ouch. That is the reason I dont use air hoses.

Oh yea, I wanted to ask. Where did you get your inserts? My two piece take down is going to turn into a three piece. I dont like a straight handle, so I am going to just make a riser.
