ORIGINAL: LBR Probably had a rough spot in the string groove. Leaving the bow strung didn't cause the string to break. Compounds used to have dacron strings, and they stayed strung 24/7. Chad |

well i did the sand paper thing on the top and i think it should help alot.

yea there was a little rough spot. But i dont think it ws so bad it would break the string.

Doesn't take much--sometimes a nick or sharp spot so small you can'tsee or even feel it will cut a string.

well it was bass pro. they always say crap to sell anything.

In my experience it's rare to find someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to trad bows at a shop that specializes in compound bows.
