ORIGINAL: burniegoeasily

You will like that bow. It will be a sweet shooter. May be when we get that hog hunt going, you can bring it down. That way we can make fun of Rev for shooting his training wheel bow.
Kent.

It should be a sweet shooter and dont worry I will be hunting with it

The reason I have decided to go back to Trad gear is the enjoyment of shooting compounds is just not there anymore it is like a chore for me to go shoot.

Rev? who dat the name rings a bell just cant seem to place him.

I was just looking at his bows yesterday on AT. I really want to plunk down the cashfor a custom TD Recurve. I would love to have one with Birds Eye Maple and Cocobolo. I think that would make a sweet looking bow. Do you guys think that a takedown recurve will stand up to years of use?

It should and if you happen to break a limb it is just a matter of getting a new one made or even a new set made.

I think if I was going to get a take down made I would order it with a couple of different sets of limbs.
