Any trad turkey hunters, here?

Kudos to any of you who have decided to give this a try. I hope to be there, one day.
I've made a pact with myself......"IF" (big word) I'm able to take one from the blind this year with my compound.....I think it'll be my last that way. I'll either attempt it without a blind.....OR go with the longbow.
So....a chance to toot your own horns.
Do you hunt them with your trad gear? And....if so.....who's been successful? Any photos would be GREAT!
Thanks!

Im still not 100% sure if I will be taking my compound or one of my recurves yet. But leaning towards the recurve. I have a nice 1968 Bear Kodiak Magnum that is 52" and 46# that makes for a great turkey bow.

This will be my son's first year of turkey hunting. I'll be there to do the calling behind the blind. Looking forward to it. We're going out scouting again this weekend. Didn't hear anything last weekend.

I am going try to use my recurve this year. I just feel more confident with the recurve than a compound. Instead of holding to full draw, and sighting. I just want to be able to draw and fire when the time arrises. I am not beyond using a compound just feel more confident with the new recurve.
But the bad news is I dont' have a blind, and sure sure how this is going to work out.

don't respect us yet
Nuttin is on the ground.
Actually, this is my first time bow hunting turkeys. I always use a shotgun. But since my wife is expecting any time, I know I won't be able to travel far from home and only place around me with turkeys is bow only. After turkey hunting for years, I honestly not sure how I am going to pull off a bow shot unless I am in a tree.
