February: only 8 months to archery season
Is it me or has cabin fever set in early this year? Maybe it is because I am cooped up in these blankety blank barracks waitin to go home. Anyway, eight months till the Michigan archery opener, one year is a long time away from the tree stand. Just had to vent a little since Lil'hunter is hunting bou and loving every minute of it. Good luck, may God grant you a bountiful hunt.

A little more than 7 month until WI deer season.
About 5 1/2 month before I can chase squirrels in IL.
Probably 3 months until the carp start cooperating on the river.
Until then, I'm hunting foam.

Let's see... coug's are still open until March 31, then bear season opens April 1 until June, then critters get a month or so off until July sometime when sheep opens, and I think bou's. Moose, deer, bear open in August. But now there's winter chinook salmon to chase, steelhead, if the ocean calms down those pesky halibut are out there... AAARRRGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

Blue moose has the idea!
Our Turkey season opens in April, and I have been scouting. A lot. I have tried longbow shooting a gobbler for the last 5 years. I can get close, but can't get drawn on them. I found a place a couple weeks ago that I'm sure(again) will work!

It`s been 27 years since I hunted with a recurve, so 8 months is good for me. I gotta kill a bunch of McKenzies between now and then!
