Somehow I deleted the pic from my album. Here's another. My favorites are the Wallace and the Stotler. The BigEast is one of the prettiest bows I've ever seen and it's fast and hits hard but it's not as smooth as those two.

Pretty bows. I like the wood in the Stotler. Is that cocobolo?

The Stotler is a one-piece Osage. It' s not as dark as the picture but has aged to a nice golden brown-yellow color. The Wallace is green-dyed laminated Maple, the BigEast is Zebrawood and I' m not sure what the Great Plains is.

Am I correct that the bottom bow is the Stotler??

Whatever it may be, I' d like to ask about the handle section. It appears to be quite " straight" ....sort of apears more like a longbow handle than a recurve..Perhaps I' m not looking at it correctly??

I' m curious how you like the " feel" of it and any other comments.

Thanks

That is a Stotler Medalist recurve and it does have a vey straight handle on it.I also had a longbow that had a very simiar handle, although it was a bit " beefier" in the hand. This one is 64" ,52#@27" .I draw 26" -27" (depending on form)and this is my best shooting curve. It' s stable,smooth-casting,no shock, quiet and I clocked it at 167fps with a 525gr cedar. Here' s a better pic of the riser.

Thanks for the picture, I can see much better. Interesting, I think I might like the feel of it a lot....maybe too much ..according to my wife.

When our youngest child moved out while attending college I made a terrible mistake. I thought coverting her old room into a place for MY STUFF would be good. Seems she never realized how many bows I really had untill I got them all in one small room, oops!!!

Real pretty bow, sounds as if it shoot as nice as it looks.

thanks again
