The wait begins

I just put in an order at the archery shop for a custom Allegheny Mountain hybrid longbow from a local bowyer.
These are some sweet shooting bows, and I can't wait for it to come in.Its going tobe sweet.57# @ my draw of 27".

Congrat's on thenew bow.What's the turn-around on them? I ordered a Northern Mist longbow last May and got it in Sept.The wait will kill ya.That's one of the reasons I buy most of my bows used.I just picked up another Silvertip this week and can barely wait til next week for it to get here

I'm looking forward to the day I get my first Custom!!!!!! I told myself I need to kill with my first Traditional bow before I get another and another and so on and so on......[8D]

The turnaround time should be around 4-6 weeks, not too shabby there.
Bill is one of the guys who builds them, this one is being made by his partner Dave Miller. I was shooting them a couple weeks ago and just completely fell in love with them.

I think you're gonna have a heck of a bow. I met Bill at a shoot and tried one of his bows. He was having a raffle for one which I put in for.
If this is the same Dave Miller from Indiana, then I'd be very happy. Dave was taught by John Schulz.

That guy is unreal. He built a takedown recurve for my brother years ago. What a bow. It was his first with carbon laminated in the limbs. I think the riser is bubinga or something like that. Prettyfast too. Im not worthy of such a fine bow (Yet!!)
