I'm planning on getting a traditional bow for plinkin around , nothing to serious . Living in the UK we are quite limited with flatbows and hunter recurves , I have seen this bow called a Samick SLBFlatbow or the Internature Flatbow andthey're not bad money . your thoughts please . http://www.bowsports.com/acatalog/Traditional_Bows.html
I shoot a 54# Merlin XS compound bow normally , so what draw weight should i start with ?
Many thanks

Hey Bail, where you located? I might be in Martlesham or Ipswitch in a few months for BT. Maybe around March.
Not sure if the deal is going thru or not, but if it does, I can bring you something from the states if you have trouble getting it.

Thanks bigcountry , will let you know how i go on .
If i don't get sorted , i will PM you . Only want to spend $250 , about 120pounds UK . I'm gonna call in the archery shop and try a couple of bows out around the 40# draw weight , see how it feels .
Also thanks Jim , will have a look at the take down traditionals they have in .
Do you use wood arrows , alluminium or carbon ?
Thanks guys
