I just received a magazine that was all about guides for all areas of the world. This really made me pause for a moment and wonder. I happen to be blessed in my life to basically have money not stand in the way of the things I would like to do and yet when I see the prices of guided hunts I'm actually appaled. So if money was no object for you how much would you pay for a guided hunt for an animal you've always wanted to take?

I spent $5500 for an outfitted Elk hunt. Figured it would be my first/last. It was a mistake. If I ever go again, it will be unguided.
On the other hand....a couple of us went to Mexico on a wingshooting tour once. It was great, and worth the $3500.
