There's alot of good one's out there! I shoot a WindWalker take down custom made recurve 73lbs at 29". I'm guessing they don't make them anymore. Kota makes some very good traditional bows. My brother picked one of these up last year and he loves it. There very light in weight and very smooth. I'm not 100% sure but i think the price range is in the 500.00 range. The next recurve i want to get is a Big Horn. Not sure if they make them anymore either.

Problem is your price. Not much out there smooth under 350.

I like the way black widows ironwood bows shot. Matt/PA on here has one. I love zipper bows. But all are going to run you well over 700 dollars. Chekmate was the only bow that fit the criteria I could think of. I shoot a martin dreamcatcher, but even those are over 500 new. You can look at bear grizzly for 300 or PSE coyote. Not sure how traditional you want to go.

BH...

I asked the same question a few months ago before MAtt/PA gave me the advice to buy the Fred Bear Longbow (Montana).

I've never looked back. I love it. Matt also has this bow (along with his black widow). It's a $289.00 bow....and I love the way it shoots.

Good luck.

Don't overlook buying used.Good quality, slightly used bows can be had on your budget if you are patient.
