Good qustion--lol. Most likely it will be around 3" shorter than the bow length--that would be where to start anyway. Check brace height and adjust from there.

Depending on the bow design could be 1 to 3 inches shorter than the bow. Found this out with the 5 bows I just got. Get with LBR (Chad), our fearless moderator, at [email protected]. HE makes strings and could twist you up several to try. His prices are very reasonable, and you can pick the colors, I've already bought 5 or 6 strings<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

A good starting point would be to take a tape measure and measure the length from nock to nock along the backside of the bow, then subtract 3&quot; from that measurement. A string of that length should be in the ballpark.
