Need some asistance in prices of older bows
Could I get suggestions or recommendations of sites to look at for determining current value/going rates of older bows.
I'm pretty sure this is going to turn into a problem for me(I get addicted easily) because I just picked up a new recurve last week and already I'vefound a olderBear that I'm sure I want.
Anyone with thoughts on it is welcome to comment (please do): BearSuper Kodiak Magnum, RH,48", 55lb. Fellow says it's in excellant condition w/new string but wants 175.00and I'm too new at this to really know possible value. According to him he's had it for approx. 15 years.
Thanks in advance for any help/replies.

RE: Need some asistance in prices of older bows
I have a 48" Super Magnum Bear recurve,57#@28" and for what it's worth to you--it's not a very comfortable bow to shoot(and I don't even draw 28").
But anyway,I've seen them go for much more(usually the '60's models)and I've seen them sell for less. It's probably a fair price if it's in excellant cond.
