Who's looking for thier 1st this season?

Well who's looking to make thier first kill with trad gear this fall?
I guess you could say I am a "born again" 1st timer. I hunted 2 season 20 years ago with a recurve, but didn't get anything. So technicaly its not my 1st time in the woods with trad gear, but it might as well be.

I am! I am! I am going to take the first deer that gives me an opportunity as long as its not a buck fawn. I will be starting the quest I have wanted to for years this saturday.

I took my compound out antelope hunting, but from here on out I will be using either my 60" 53# @ 28" Longbow or my 62" 60# Recurve. Can't wait to connect. Going after something with trad gear will really be an accomplishment. Can't wait for Saturday to get here.

I'm shooting my longbow all day Sunday.
If I can get proficient....I want to AT LEAST go to the woods with mine, this year. even if I limit it to 10 yds.....I'd like to see what it feels like to be out there with my longbow. "I" think coming to full draw might light MY candle.
We;ll see. I have a ways to go.
