Bow String for 30lb Recurve
#1
I just read a young man's post on the bowhunting forum regarding an old recurve. It reminded me of a 30lb Golden Bear recurve that I had as a kid and have been hauling around the country for the better part of 30 years. It's in mint condition because I lost the string many years ago. This may be asilly question, but where can I find another string to fit it? I'd love to passit along to someone who'd enjoy shooting it.

You can get strings from cabelas, 3 rivers archery, or I get LBR (Chad) on here to make mine. His website is www.recurves.com.
You want to take a flexible tape and measure the length of it, and ask for a string 3-4 shorter than the length from nock end to nock end. For an old bow, like that, you want a dacron.
