[:@]with a possible search area of a few acres i dont think im gonna find it...especially in 3 foot tall grasses. !!!!!!!DOE!!!!
Its ok i dont think i really liked it....i was just used to it! it was the one made by martin archery and i didnt like the way the seams were on the end of the fingertips.
the glove im looking at ordering is a american leathers:

the only thing i dont understand is that it says closed end with nylon inserts and thats not what the picture shows...i take it you can ordedr the glove either way???
any experience with these gloves guys?????
heres a pic from 3 rivers site of the same glove

I had one and didn't much like it. Keep in mind I don't have much experience to base my opinions on. I got one of the 3-Rivers Super gloves with the cordura nylon tips and I like it pretty well. Last week a friend gave me a damascus glove and I'm pretty sure that is what I'll be using from now on.

Tex was the leather good quality? hows the nylon inserts work?
i used to have a damascus glove long ago that i used to shoot my compound with....i liked it... i guess all that counts is if your used to it or not...dont know why but i like the looks of the glove posted in the pic above

well...ive been shooting a bunch of arrows over 2-3 hr sessions(every 3 days)and my fingers are pretty swollen by the end of it all...i want a glove that is stout and offers max protection to my fingers...i used to shoot off my finger tips and they didnt swelllikethey dowhen usinga deep hook...thats the only thing i dont like about the deep hook hold...it seems...the glove i had was stretched pretty thin.
anyone else get swollen fingers after long sessions....
the swell goes down after about half a day and dont hurt the next day, unless i shoot...then they will shoot back up after a few dozen shots and i have to stop.
i would like to be able to shoot a solidhour(as many arrows as posssible in that time)or so every day without feeling it in my fingers...

Alpha, I have the glove you have shown in the picture. Yes, I believe you can order the glove either way from American Leathers. And yes, this glove will give max protection. I bet you could use a very heavy bow with this glove with no problem. It's actual a little too stiff for my liking though (I only shoot up to about 70#'s) and the stalls seem to be a bit long. But I can't say that I have given it a very fair chance to show its stuff. Right now,my main glove is a Howard Hill cordovan with inserts. My backups are Bateman Cordovans with inserts.

well i bought the american leathers traditional glove on monday morn and already got the glove....fastest standard delivery ive ever seen.[8D]i dont know how they did it
this thing is a TANK...its awkward feeling to me now but i think im gonna like it....the ends of the finger stalls are finished in a funny way thats hard to explain and i didnt expect it, its gonna be interesting to see how it shoots....probably will take a month or 2 to break in... reminds me of a high quality (pro 150$+)new baseball glove, mofos to break in and difficult to use at first....but get better and better over the years....definately not good choice glove for a beginner or someone that needs something already broke in.
i like it
