Anybody going? I plan on being there sometime before noon Friday, depending on how quick I can get loaded up and gone.

Ya'll missed a great one! Over 500 registered shooters (some folks shot more than one class--I shot longbow and selfbow), lots of arrows flung andexcuses made. This is one you need to plan for next year!

Yep--Tal got first in longbow, and Jerry got first in recurve. I got first in primitive, and third in longbow. Had a great time!

Tal M., goes by "Blue Moose". Dang good shot--think he won longbow there last year also.

I appreciate the congrats, but honestly I was more suprised that I placed in longbow. My first day was decent, but not as good the second day. Every other person I've talked to (including Tal) shot their better score the second day (two day competition). Had a couple of pretty good days with my selfbow. Problem is, whichever I start the day with is usually the bow I'll shoot better--buggers me somewhen I shoot both bows in the same day.

There's another good shoot coming up at Tannehill in August--the ASTB State Championship. I haven't decided yet if I'm going or not--it's dang hot in AL in August! I'll probably do it though.

I'll try to remember that Troy--I'll probably be there, if there's nothing pressiong going on here. If I'm there, I'll be camping in a Cabela's tent with a black F-150 parked close by. I try to get a spot near the main drive, not too far from the shower house.
