Default Proper brace-height...?

Does anyone know the proper brace-height for a PSE Coyote/60" recurve?

Recommended brace height: 5-1/2” to 6-1/4”

Thanks Sask. The reason I'm asking is because I have it strung with a 56" string, with ONE twist, and the brace is 8". And that picture in the link you posted is nowhere near 6 1/4".That's exactly how mine looks at 8". I'm wondering if anyone knows what the brace is NORMALLY for a 60" recurve.

Thanks alot tho.

The "recomended" brace height is just a starting point. You still have to twist it up or down to tune it.
My 66" Adcock shoots best at 8" with an 18 strand fast flight. When I twisted up a 16 strand it was best at 7 1/2"
Thats with compressed and tapered cedars.
If you change anything it could possible effect performance.

Sounds like your string is a bit short for your bow. My brace height on my longbow is 7 3/8". Probably higher than most, but it gives me the best flight.
