What kind of recurves do you guys shoot? I shoot a Samick, 50# at 28"I like it so far but I want to get 60-65# limbs for it.

My main bow is a longbow, but I use a Chek-Mate Hunter I for bowfishing.

The cheapest one I could find - PSE KingFisher . I like shooting it ,,, once I'm good at shooting this one , then I'll buy a Hoyt . I've got 45 lbs on it . I think I'll stay at about 45-55 lbs . It's tough enough to shoot these bows accuratly ,, I don't need muscle fatigue too .

I don't shoot a Recurve, I am a longbow man, but I have shot a few, and the Chek-Mate Hunter I is a fine shooting bow.

Among my longbows, I also have three recurves:

Chek-Mate King Pawn 54#'s at 29"
Brackenburry Drifter 61#'s at 28"
Great Plains Palo Duro 58#'s at 30"

Pictures in order:

I shoot a Samick and InterNature Recurve. It's a great bow! It's called a SKB Korean bow. Here is some links to some pictures of it. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v292/sniper27/?action=view&current=100_0881.jpg

The woods on it are Rosewood and Walnut. It's a beautiful bow! It's got A LOT of curve to it, and it's fast. I haven't shot it a lot yet; I can't wait until I do get to shoot it a lot.

BOBCO, that is without-a-doubt the neatest quiver I've ever ran across! How/where did you come about it?

Englishope, I've been piqued by the "asian" designed recurves of old. Let us know how you like your modern version...please.

RE: recurves

Soilarch, thanks,Steve Catts custom made the quiver for me. I just talked to him a few days ago however about getting a sheath, and he is not taking custom orders right now. Too backed up, and for what I want there are others that can get it to me quicker. But he may have some quivers that are already made up. If you need contact info, let me know and I'll PM you.
