Brad, congrats on the recurve! Do you have any pictures of the bow and your arrows? I'm goin' to try to order a recurve tomorrow. (I can't wait until it's delivered.) But if you need any tips on shooting here's one: when you shoot, use your mind and think about where the arrow will hit and if you don't think it will adjust it to where you think it will. I hope this helps.

6" at 20 yrds sounds ok
did you say you just got your recurve last month?
i have been shooting mine all winter planning on going to alberta in may
some days i can shoot 4'' groups at 20 yrd some days i cant hit the 3-d bear im trying to shoot 3-4 arrows avery 2-3 hours dering the daytell i go. i was shooting great then my string broke when i put the new string on i couldnt hit nothing what happend is the old string was so stretched that it droped the poundage so much i was shoting a arrow that was not spined right after the new string it took me some time to figure that out. im thinking im going to tape me string when i take my bow apart to go one the plain so my string does not ttwist witch will change brace hight/draw weight.

When you get the brace hgt. set ,just measure from the string to the deepest part of the grip and write it down. Then you know exactly where to set the brace hgt should you need to replace it or it stretches
