Default Lamb1647 - I got a question

On your hommade cresting labels, what kind of paper do you use ? I have tried a dozen and one types and cannot find one that will not smear or smudge ?? I'm working on a project and could use the tip - thanks

stealthycat,

Were you looking for Chuck Adams/Hoyt posters/pictures? I have a couple from a show in Wooster, MA last year. I'm keeping the signed one.

Stealthy,

If you are talking about what I think you are, Staples sells peel-off printable bumper sticker blanks in white that do the trick.

Stealthy, there is a spray you can get--think mine came from the hobby store--that will keep material printed on the computer from smudging. No idea how it would react to a finish though. Be sure to use it outside--it has some really strong fumes.

I got your e-mail, and tried to respond, but it was returned to me. Any ideas?

LBR - I got you blocked

Just kidding, maybe my company fired me this afternoon ? try [email protected] or [email protected]

I sprayed some of the labeling paper with polyurethane and it sealed, and the feathers didn't stick worth a flip to it !

Bill - you guys ever get yours wet and if so, how does it react ?

They survive hunting in the rain, killing a couple of deer, as long as you get complete penetration, and keep on a ticking. They work great. Fletching tape works great for putting feathers on.

Stealth,

I printed mine out on clear address labels then stuck them on top of a coat of white paint, applied acrylic urethane over top and fletched with super gel stuff. No runs, smears or feathers falling off.
