I did hunt with the Darton. The Bear isn't tuned well yet and the Ben Pearson went home with my nephew. That ia one happy kid! I've been shooting well with the Darton not that the hogs could tell!

You know only reason I started shooting a longbow was due to an angry hog charging me with a compound. Getting anchored and looking thru a peep finding my pins, with hogs fightin with the dogs, was just too much. Also I am severely left eye dom and right handed, so that closing my left eye while keeping an eye out for those critters didn't work.

Wow! You win my admiration. If a hogcharged me with a compound I would find another sport. Next they'll have guns, and then bombs. :D

If a hog charges me while hunting with my compound the bow will soon become a club and then I will be glad I have three more bows at home because I will destroy the "club".
