Bob was a great shot, no doubt about it. I have a friend who has his video, and isn't impressed with it.
What Bob teaches, in a nutshell, is gap shooting. One thing he has his students do is make a note card of the gaps required at certain yardages. For instance, on the card it will say something like: 10 yds-10" low 15 yds-7" low 20 yds-4" low etc. etc. etc.
It amounts to shooting with a single sight pin (the point of your arrow). For it to work consistently, your arrows have to be the exact same weight, length, and spine; you have to be good at judging yardage; and you are going to have to practice a lot with broadheads to learn the difference in their gap (due to them being longer than a field point).
There's more to it, but that's the style he teaches--at least that's what he told me some years ago in a conversation with him. He even showed me his own gap card, that he keeps in his wallet.
