Cool, I may have to look into the video, I know instructional videos can be really helpful when trying something for the first time.

Is there anyone who may be able to tell me what some of the markings are on my bow? I understand all of them except this: AE. 5116. Its really bugging me not knowing what this means. There is a pic of it along with all the other pics of the bow.

Also, the second bow I have was painted over, covering all of the markings. I want to remove the paint so I can see all of the markings and the woodgrain underneath looks awesome. I just dont want to take any of the markings off in the process of trying to clean the bow off. Any suggestions?

Could just be a serial number.

Maybe, buts its handwritten in the same style, color, and area as the draw length, pundage, etc are written at (those are also hand written and all the writing matches)

Also it seems that there is a serial number on the bow already. Right under where it says Ben Pearson Hunter, there is a little 4 digit number.

Any other ideas on what this could be? The last thing is, please post up some links to good (helpful) sites on Trad Bow Shooting if you can. I'm trying to learn all I can about this and every little bit helps. Thanks again guys forall the replys!

That number with the poundage and the draw is the serial number and the other number located under the logo is the model number of the bow.
