Default Tab or Glove?

In the same vein as a previous post (3-under or 1-over 2-under); who shoots with a tab and who shoots with a glove?

I use both. Basically, I prefer the glove for hunting and goofing around and a tab for serious target shooting. But I do go through periods when I only shoot one or the other. I've been in a glove phase for the past year or so. Before that, I was in a tab phase for several years.

I've shot traditional archery (bowhunting)with a tab for thepast 36 years.Gloves have a tendency to get deepgrooves in the fingers and thiscauses the string to jump over theridges of thegrooves causing a bad release whichsometimes results in the fishtailing of the arrow.

I use gloves. I could never get used to a tab and gave up on them quickly. I only use cordovan leather tipped gloves however. As mentioned, regular leather will get grooves in them. Cordovan will not.

I have found I get a much cleaner smoother release with tab. But would prefer a glove.

I started with a glove and didn't really like it, so I switched to a tab and then it got "stolen" and a buddy had a glove so I tried that again. Now, I'm stuck on the glove because the second one was much better quality and I started shooting much better (probably mental).
