Default Stress Cracks

Hey all!
I purchased a used recurve on Ebay about a month ago and have been shooting it just about every day. Today I noticed several thin stress cracks on the upper limb that weren't there when I received it. I realize this is probably normal in an older bow but should I begin looking for a new one? Is there anything to worry about? Thanks for the input.

Are the cracks in the finish on the surface across the limb orare the glass fibers in the lamination coming apart parallel to the limb?

Cracks running lengthwise aren't usually a problem. If they bug you, you can fill them in with liquid superglue. Visible cracks running across the limb are often just cracks in the old lacquer. You'll need to really check them out closely though, to make sure they're only in the surface finish and not in the fiberglass below. If they're only in the finish, just keep shooting. If they're in the glass, hang the bow up cuz it's telling you it's retired and doesn't want to work any more.

I had the same problem. I used super glue and it worked for me.
