The big buck of the bunch had 10 points that I could see, probably 3 or 4 more that I couldn't make out. He was also a very big bodied deer. I would guess around 200lb....but they get veeerry cagey when they make it that old!
There was an 18 point buck killed in S. IN this year. Don't know exactly where. It's the corn and soybeans.

Congrats John. Going to hunt this weekend with my BBO. Got a doe with my flintlock on T day. Some say we don't have any bucks in Indiana worth hunting. I got a 8 or 10 pt on the farm that I have been watching. Go 210-220 easy. Big massive rack too.

Nice going. Isn't it always nice to get one in the snow! It's almost worth holding out.

I've seen that buck on the public area! He's got 9 ways to sneak back on your place....<img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>
Also he has a nose like a bloodhound.

I kinda hope he makes it (unless we get a chance LOL) and breeds everything in sight. He was after 3 does the last time I saw him. Hope they all have twins. He came by me about 30 mph pushing the does. I didn't even have a chance to get the gun off half cock.

He's safe from me this year. I'm done. Going back to Squirrels this weekend. Congrats on the deer with the Flintlock! 3D starts in January. Take a look at the updated Ind. Trad Bowhunters site.
