RE: The longest shot you would take?
Assumed, implied or clearly stated, I'm still not going to take a shot longer than 20 yds.
|
RE: The longest shot you would take?
To far for me[:@]not that good a shot yet..
|
RE: The longest shot you would take?
15 and under....maybe in afew yrs Ill expand it to 20yrds.NOW assuming someone else is buying my arrows and its a 3-D target I will try as long as it takes to hit a deer at say 150-200 yrds:D:D:D.
Now assuming that were assuming its a real deer under hunting conditions I will not shoot past 15yrds,give or take room for judgement errors. |
RE: The longest shot you would take?
ok, The question I am asking is what is the longest shot that you would take at a real animal.
|
RE: The longest shot you would take?
45 yards, got the antlers on the wall from that one, and yes that took and takes allot of practice, used a longbow and cedar arrows
|
RE: The longest shot you would take?
ATM, 20 yards. I hope to be up to 35 yards by next season. I would like to get even better than that.

RE: The longest shot you would take?
20 yards or under, but at 20 yards I would need to feel really good.
|
RE: The longest shot you would take?
Depends on the critter, situation, how it feels, etc. I've shot rabbits beyond 20 yds, killed a little pig last Feb. at near 25 yds, and passed on deer well under 20. I can say I wouldn't take an 80 yd shot, but that's about as specific as I can get because I just don't know until it's time to decide.
