Personally, I don't think there is an individual who has done as much to promote bowhunting, and archery than Fred Bear. His marketing ability, coupled with the production of functional, durable, accurate, and afffordable archery tackle, brought archery out of backwoods, and into the public spotlight.

What a wonderful man. He lived a life most only dream of. His book, Field Notes, is one of my favorites. He is truely a legend.
