hoping to shoot a doe this year once ive gotten my buck. i can only shoot good out to 20yrds max with my recurve and only been shooting it a year so dont want to take a chance if i see the buck of a lifetime at 25-50 yrds i can kill it with my compound but i really cant wait until my bucks in the dirt so i can do some recurve hunting.

Me Too, I finally got a big old Doe and a 5 point buck that came after her 5 minutes after I shot her, I was waiting to give the doe time to lay down and die, as she was walking and I thought the shot was far back, she only went about 25 yards, the shot went in an angle from back to front and I got the lungs and heart.
The 5 point was a spine shot and just dropped there,I was using my old hickory bamboo bow, 72",#50@ 28" and I used Zwickey broadheads.
