RE: Who has come down out of the trees?

one time i forgot my jacket and it got cold in the evening and i was tired. i was leaning against the tree half asleep and i pictured getting into a hot shower and then felt myslef weightless and then slammed into the ground. i actually walked off my stand thinking i was getting into the shower. i was ok after getting my breath back. it funny now but three feet to my right id have been on a stone wall.

I've been wanting to come down from the trees esp after reading some of G. Fred Asbell's books and hating hanging stands, having to move them, getting 'caught' moving in one, limited space, etc.

My cuz took a nice 8 pointer or so at a mere 12 yds from a ground blind he made of falled debris and he said that buck never knew he was there! His (our) homemade cedar arrow with its Magnus head found it mark and he had his first duck with the recurve (55# Martin TD bow).
