How's that shoulder? I got an injection today and immediately the shoulder is back in action. Good luck with it.

It feels pretty rickety. No sharp pain, same ole. The doctor said said if it feels the same in 3 weeks, MRI to see the problem. I havn't shot the longbow for almost 20 days. Think I am sleeping on it wrong.

I tore my left shoulder rotator 3 years ago while pulling a stand in January. Couldn't even lift my arm above my waist. My doctor told me he'd give me a crossbow permit because shooting 75 - 80# recurves and longbows was never gonna happen again. I opted for a new medication that had just come out that rebuild cartlidge and complete rest for 60 days. I didn't turkey hunt that spring but I took a good 8pt. on the last day of archery with my 80# longbow!

Best of luck with the shoulder,BC.Timing really sucks,though-right at archery season.I don't have shoulder probs butI have some neck problems that I have to have surgery.I put it off til the Monday after our bow season ends.I had to drop down to a 48# longbow so I could at least hunt this year.Keep us updated on the shoulder, Jim

My Dad had a bone spur in his shoulder a couple years back. He was about to have surgery to remove it, but then the pain just went away.
