I hope this works. These are the arrows I had made. The gentleman who makes them sent me this picture to make sure the colors were right. They should be here by tues.

its an art - I've tried for years to make ultra arrows and have gotten some good ones, but I appreciate more now how tough it is to make such great looking arrows

Where do you get swan feathers? Heck, where do you guys that build your own arrows buy all of your feathers? What do you use for a fletching tool?

very nice arrows guys!!

alex.....just a question since you mentioned they are swan feathers. how do they fly compared to "traditional" turkey feathers?? when i think of swan feathers i think of gesse feathers, which i think are softer and thinner then a turkeys...i like the looks of them. id love to come to your house and just snoop around! lol...stick bow builder, arrow builder...taxidermist.....what else do you do?!?! your a talented guy! just curious about the swan feathers...i was thinking they might not fly good if they are softer then turkey feathers, but then again they could be more "forgiving" ..i dont know thought id ask....i now wish i would saved all my turkey wings...id like to make my own fletchings from birds i harvested. im sure you guys could steer me in the right direction. what other feathers have you experimented with?? i think 2 turkey tail feathers and 1 turkey wing feather would make a nice combo....though tail feathers are straight correct?? i think i need to get into arrow building and do my own experminting! lol......
