I bought my frienda Chub as a present. He's always complining about not being able to get a decent shorter type knife. It was perfect for him, he loves it.

I like a heavy knife for bird hunting so when you clean them you can use the back of the blade to pop (break) the wing bones in half. Makes cleaning alot easier for me.

It is between the Drop point with the wood and bone handleand the custum. I am going to be fishing by Rapid River this weekend so I willswing in the shop and take a look at the knifes first hand. I hope that the custom is still in.

If anyone has any thing else to add I will be here.

Thanks guys.

I've used a lot of knives and mostly use for deer, turkey and bear. I got a Va. Blade knifeand field dressed 5 deer and processed one of those completly and never touched the blade. they have a nice selection. they are a bit pricing but in my opinion well worth it. I keep adding to my collection each time the offer a new type and often give them as gifts

I like the drop point with the second handle. I like the black ring on the third handle better than the grey ring but the wood is nicer on the second and the rivet sets off the handle nicely.

Along with the knife, you may want to consider an armguard sheath.
