Default What game has been taken so far?

I was just wondering who has taken game so far this season and with what. I've taken 2 doe one with a Howatt Hunter recurve 70# and one with a Shelby longbow, 80#. My son took a good 8pt. with a Hill Big 5 75#. There's two weeks of the rut to go here in PA so hopefully I'll be able to fill the last tag!

About 50 or so carp with a bamboo-backed osage bow. Some gar and silver carp with a 39# recurve, including a 52" longnose. Two squirrels with another bamboo-backed osage, and one with a Winchester 1890. Three deer with a Chek-Mate Hunter II and Woodsman heads.

5 pt. buck with my Chek-Mate Falcon. Magnus 2 blade heads on POC shafts. Will be leaving in the morning for Pike Co, IL. A buddy and I are going to try our luck on some of those big Pike County bruisers.

One doe so far with my 55# Chek Mate Falcon. Have two more tags to fill. One more doe and a buck. 3 deer this year in my county.

A couple of spruce grouse with my Chek-Mate Crusader (longbow). So far that is all I have shot at this season, besides a tiny red squirrel (missed that bugger). Did get some fish earlier in the year with a Hunter recurve.

So far all I've done is show a squirrel the authority of my Mahaska. I have only been able to go deer hunting twice this year. Too much work! I hope I can get out in the rut. I'd like to hang a stand around where I've seen deer, water, and scrapes. Hopefully that'd be productive for the rut. If not deer, maybe more squirrel. I'm still aspiring to shoot some coyotes after deer season. Hopefully that'll go well.

God bless,
Brandan

A picture perfect Pennsylvania 8-point and a doe with a 65# selfbow. Still trying to fill my other doe tag. After that it's off with blunts for squirrels!!!
