Congrats to LBR!
Well, looks like LBR is gonna have to change his nick to SBR.
Chad kicked some serious butt with his selfbow at the Howard Hill Southeastern Classic this weekend, taking first place in the selfbow division. This was a major tournament with nearly 350 entrants. Not sure how many were in selfbow, but there were a bunch of 'em.
Congrats, Chad. It was great shooting with you as usual...I vow to bring my BBO to the Tannehill shoot in August. That outta be interesting

Ya'll kicked some serious butt!! And I believe a MS boy won the Men's Recurve as well didn't he? And I thought those boys from Alabama were supposed to be tough? [8D]

Tal neglected to mention he smoked me in the longbow class! It was a happy fluke that I won the selfbow class--there were some much better archers there than me. I only shot a 427 in selfbow, and a 444 in longbow. Tal shot a 466 (I think?)!! Jerry Tomasovsky (another MS archer) won men's recurve--think he shot a 470-something? To top it off, Jerry isn't in the best of health, and was shooting an OLD Bear bow with a hole in the limb (repaired with a glob of epoxy).
We had an absolute ball--even with the spanking Tal gave me. Hope to redeem myself next year in the longbow class!
