Default Check Mate Firebird Take-down

I am looking at the Check Mate Firebird take-down recurve. If any of you have feedback, good or bad, I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

The Firebird is a very smooth, very sweet shooting bow. I had one that was 57#@28". It felt lighter than that, but it shot like it was 57#!

Very nice bow. I gave it to my son when I switched to longbows, I now shoot a Chek-Mate Crusader, or I will still be shooting it!

I spent some time with one and really enjoyed it. I ended up with the Chek-mate Raven mostly because I didn't care for a takedown. The Firebird was very smooth and stable.
