According to the game camera my brother had out, most of the movement where I'm hunting it at night. It's really dry here--we've only had a couple of sprinkles of rain since Katrina, and didn't even get a lot of rain from that. I'm not real sure what to do right now, other than hope they change their pattern.

hunted a scrape today.used my doe bleat, grunt tube and put out some scent. not enough wind so the scent was useless. called every half hour for about 3 hours....nothin. packed up and headed to an area i hunted last year. only about 45 minutes left and i walk in to see all the damn deer jumpin an chasing each other. couldn't get a shot due to range. oh well...i'll hunt this area tomarrow an maybe get lucky.

Well, we saw quite a few the end of October. But it's just too warm around here the end of last week. Didn't see much at all.

I just returned from Steuben County NY. The bucks on our property were definately chasing. They have quit the scrapes and are very busy with the does. I saw 4 different bucks cutting after a hot doe on Wednesday am. We got 5 straight days of all day rain then nice for a couple DAYS then got warm (60's and 70's) Pretty sucky I'd say.
