I'm getting the bow bug again and have been browsing the classifieds looking at various bows...... None of which I can afford at this time....And I don't believe I couldever sale my Horne..... However, I still like to dream
Here is my list of must shoot before I die[8D]
In no particular order....
Adcock ACS
Morrison Dakota
Black Widow Longbow
Harrison El Lobo
Acadian Woods Tree Stick
Super Shrew
Those are some that come to mind, but there are many more......
What are some of the bows you've always wanted to try but never got a chance?

I've shot 5 of the six you listed, I think. A couple may not have been the models you listed--not sure. Had a chance to shoot the other one a few times, but was nervous about damaging a bow I couldn't afford to replace, so I didn't. Probably will next summer. I've been lucky enough to shoot gobs of different bows, rangingfrom real cheap to ridiculous in price. I own the one that shot best to me (it's not on the list, but I bet you can guess what it is
).
I can only think of one that I REALLY would love to shoot, and believe it or not it's a recurve. I've been having a discussion with the bowyer recently, and he has made a huge impression on me with his honesty and humility. There's a few others I'd like to shoot, but I won't feel like my life was empty if I don't get a chance to.[8D]

I would agree with the Adcock ACS, in fact I was just about to order one when he stopped taking orders. Oh well, maybe someday.
I also really like the look and things I've heard about the Treestick. I'm ordering another Crusader
(so far my favorite bow) so I'll have to wait to shoot the others.

As long as we're dreaming... a '69 Bear Kodiak TD. Groves Spitfire. Anything by Assenhiemer. Black Widow MA.
Maybe more realistic and closer to my capability to actually get someday... Howard Hill Big Five - orRedman.Bob Lee Hunter TD.
When I do get another bow, it'll likelybe a ChekMate Hunter II. OR, I'll get the fever, saw out a form and make my own. [:-]

Probably the only bow that was onmy list was a Bear Custom T.D. and I just bought one of them. I've either owned or shot most of the others listed and still grab my 76# 1978 Howatt Hunter and kill my deer with it.

There is no greater satisfaction than to make your own longbow and arrows and taking down animals as large as a Bison, I haven't bein able to go this Year for whitetail due to the Hurricanes in florida, But I already took an 1500 Lbs Bison and a 250 wildboar, with my trusty Hickory/bamboo longbow I made this year.
Iam now in the process of making about 7 more, just got the wood bug I guess,LOL
