Might be able to get my hands on this bow. Cant wait :
Autographed by Mr. Bear himself in 1980. 22k gold plated limb
mounts and clear glass. Limbs are yew and the riser is brazilian
rosewood. Very collectable from what my buddy tells me. He's
looking to get rid of it. Dont ask me why , wouldnt part with it ,
but wont tell him that.

Yes, it is very collectable. Even the plain Jane, unsigned Kodiak TD's that are in any kind of acceptable condition are selling for a thousand bucks. But don't tell him that.[8D] If you get it, you can bet I'll be more than a little green with envy.

He must be in a bad way for cash then. He told me he'd sell to me for $400. I've held the bow and it has no dings at all. It sat in his uncle's basement for at least 15yrs. He doesnt hunt so hopefully it'll be in my hands by next week. Was gonna spend 3-400 on a new bow anyway , so why not this one

Saw a bow exactly like that several years ago. There was supposedly only a few of them made--think the price tag on the one I saw was $2,500 (pretty sure it never sold, but......). Don't shoot it, don't take it out of the box, don't even handle it--you will decrease the value. I'd happily give you double your money back on it.

I'm serious--one reason (other than I just can't afford it) I never got into collecting bows--you will decrease the value if you use them, and any handling will increase the chances of a ding plus you have have stuff in your skin that could eventually show up in the finish. That bow wasn't made to shoot--it was made to seal up and look at. I'd put it in a glass display, or lease it out to a big archery shop that would be able to watch after it properly.
Or, you could double your money and get all that worry off your hands......
