I've shot some Hill style bows that'll make a couple of your teeth swap holes on every shot. And I've shot some that were gentle as lambs, and they were always longer ones, 70" or so. I think the key is to keep enough bow length to minimize limb tip movement, use lighter woods in the limbs (maybe why Hill was so partial to bamboo?) and get the brace height just right. At least that's the theory I'm gonna work under for now.

Might make a bow just to wind up sticking it on Ebay, but I gots to try.
