Black Widow PTF Recurves.......
Guys....
I am wanting to build a recurve simular to the PTF... but I cant decide if I will..... I love the look and feel of that style bow. I have a 'hybrid' type longbow I made about 1.5 years ago and like it but rather have a recurve.... I will have to make a form (on my CNC machine) and then obviouly the bow so thats the cause for questioning the project - Its a one time deal....
Who - if anyone, makes a bow simular to the PTF ?? I cannot and wouldnt justify a 900 dollar bow when I can make one or buy one considerably less....
Thanks for the help and comments........

Great Plains makes a 1-piece 'curve similar to the PFT. I like the B model a bit better than the original. Check it out. http://www.greatplains.pampa.com/tradlong.htm

RE: Black Widow PTF Recurves.......
My main thought was "I gotta have it" when I shot a model B. They are a bit short for my draw length though, but would be great for someone drawing 30" or less. The deflex riser made it shoot right where I looked, and the limbs have a nice humpback look to the limbs when strung that look great, at least to me. The humpback is a little more pronounced than the limbs on the old Asbell era Bighorns. Great Plains does a great job with fit and finish on their bows. Nice tight glue lines, just like you'd expect on a custom.
