This family is friends of mine, they are great folks and very down to earth. The Bennetts have farmed, the land that you would hunt on, for generations. They recently had an outfitter that was running hunts from their lodge, they have parted ways and the Bennetts are running the operation on their own. Still some open spots left. I know in this economy $2000 IS a bunch of money but I assure you that you could not do this 5 day hunt any other way and make it less expensive. You've got 6 days at the lodge, 5 days in the stands hunting on well managed private land, guided and semi guided hunts, 3 meals a day with Dinner being a homecooked feast, facilities to hang, process and store your harvest and if you have harvested your 150" buck before everyone else it doesn't mean your done; you have Does to take care of or coyotes. The Bennetts have quite a few tree stands and ground blinds on the land, rest assured that you will not be hunting the same areas that the guys before you just got done hunting. If Kansas is on your list of "To Hunt" states this will likely be your best opportunity for $2000. [/align]

JAVA, I almost forgot to mention it. For those of you worried about being able to draw a tag, last year Kansas changed the regs regarding landowner tags; as a nonresident you will likely draw a trag if you apply. Last season in unit 11 there were left over tags that were sold over the counter after the initial draw, that means that everyone that applyed in unit 11 was drawn.

The economy has just opened up 3 spots for gun season. The dates are in Dec. and Kansas has left over tags for unit 11 , that means no draw to get permits.
