Charlie P - surely you don't think a Hunting site that has in its core rules
No topics and/or statements which could be used to reflect poorly on hunting, archery or firearms. Anti-hunting and other posts indicating a stance against the hunting, archery and firearm industry will be removed.
Would have such a sponsor, do you ?
BTW - I posted this on another site and the results of what they think ? Most agree - its canned hunting

Come on Brad, we're all adults here. If you have something on your mind, just say it.

without knowing that Old Stone Fence is a sponsor of this site, everyone who's replied Justin has said its Canned Hunting by definition.
now that you've stuck the sponsors right here on every single page of Hunting.Net, it gets me going again. I love the sport of hunting, and what Old Stone Fence sells IS NOT Hunting and is absolutely 100% detrimental to our sport and everything that it is. Want proof ?

Old Stone Fence is penciled already by Anti-hunting groups - why ? They hate that kinds of thing and so do the Hunters that frequent this site.
Now, how about you tell me whats on your mind today Justin ? Why choose a Canned Hunting Sponser like this ?

Well Brad, what you need to understand first and foremost is that HuntingNet is a business. As with any business we're not here to play around all day and have fun - we're here to make money and we do that by selling advertising space on our website. Whether we sell that space to a high fence hunting preserve, a free ranging outfitter, or some guy selling arrows out of his basement is irrelevant. Despite your feelings, our feelings, or anyone else's feelings hunting within a confined area is legal and there are thousands of people who pay to do it every year. Open up virtutally any hunting magazine, flip to the back where the classifieds are and you'll see plenty of ads for high fenced operations. This is because, just like us, they are an advertising and informational medium. We don't view HuntingNet as a place to convey our personal beliefs and feelings about hunting, and therefore don't discriminate with who can and can not advertise with us.
Before you try to argue with me on my last point - YES I do come on the board and give my personal opinion on issues at hand, but at the same time I also respect other people's opinions and let them speak their mind just as I am letting you do here.

And so too do you have the power to take on the Sponsors you want, and those you don't. Its Choice Justin - and you choose to have a Canned Hunting Sponsor.

Hunting.Net endorses Canned Hunting. Ya'll condone it, accpet it ......... even have Sponsors that sell it on your site and yet, ironically, most people here HATE the concept, don't they ? Browse the Canned Hunting topics - its no secret Justin. The only secret ? That few people but me realize and know that places like Old Stone Fence are endorsed.
Its kinda like selling your Hunting soul IMO for a few extra bucks............ some people do it, some people don't

I call it 'Interactive Grocery Shopping'.
Tonight I'll be dining on some fine 'wild' boar ribs taken from a boar killed on a 500 acre low-fence operation. Is it 'hunting' in it's truest form? No.
But it's still challenging, it's 10X better than factory-farmed pork, and it's a heck of a lot more fun thanarguing about ethics on a computer.
To each their own.
"100% detrimental" Pffttt..

I'm not going to sit here and argue semantics with you. Do yourself a favor and call up Primedia or Krause Publications and see if you can get them to take all high fence hunting ads out of their magazines and let me know how that goes.
Yours truely,
Justin
