Grace
God has so wonderously moved this week...Three days ago I began to fast...the Lord opened my eyes to some awesome scripture..I finished with the John 8..the womnen caught in the very act of adultury..being in Israel..I mentally followed Jesus down the Mount of Olives and to the temple..the Pharisees seemed to have had Jesus against the wall..as they quoted His Fathers Words..saying that the adultress MUST be stoned..you can only imagine her dilemma...GOD's LAW found her guilty..
As my wife lay in her bed for 2 nights straight drowning in her mucus...I was sorely convicted of Ephesians 5.."Husbands..love your wives as Christ loved the Church giving Himself up for her." Have I done all I could do?? No..the least I could do was fast..and now let's get back to the women caught in sin..death is looking her straight in the eye without any hope..and there is my wife..dying.
We know that 17 the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ..and the best picture of grace came on the scene here and has made a total difference in my life..SOmehow...praise the Lord { -: God's marvelous GRACE / LOVE shines through this women's horror..and we all know the story..Grace/JESUS sets this women free..Jesus Himself saying ,"And neither do I condemn thee..go and sin no more." notice my new signature ..this is the scripture our home is now building on..AND this my friend has really shed some light ...Is it by works or grace..?? SImply put yourself in that ladies place..and the meeting with Grace...and His benediction..."Go and sin no more" I feel that same command directed toward me..The commmand to abide in Grace and Truth with ALL cost..denying SIN!! Sin brings us under the Law of Sin and Death...Let's live under the law of Life and Grace.{ -:
Immediately peace came over my wife.and last night she slept like a baby..I'm thrilled..as we truly are saved by Grace..not a cheap grace ..but a holy grace..the Lord Jesus Christ ...I can not begin to express the difference this has made in my life..and my wife's...today she said.."It's like I got a new husband."{ -:
