If they brake or come undone at the cabel where they are attached , and they do , they will snap you right in the eye

Right, I was going to delete my question after I thought about it and forgot to delete it. A stretched piece of rubber aimed directly into my eye can't be a good thing!

Pretty obvious once I thought about it.

I was just talking about shooting without a peep sight to a fellow last night. He said that he tried shooting without a peep and had trouble and then bought a No Peep and had great results. In talking with him, I discovered that he was looking on the right side of the string (right hand shooter). I told him about my shooting without a peep by looking on the left side of the string. I actually look between the bridge of my nose and the string at full draw and I have a built in "peep" that I look trrough. I try to make the gap between the bridge of my nose and the string the same width or "sight picture" at full draw and I'm very happy with my accuracy. Sometimes while shooting, I'll notice that I'm getting left impacts and also notice that I'm looking through a larger opening between my bridge of my nose and the string, or looking too far to the left of the string. I just "tighten up" my sight picture and the arrows go right back to center;)

I know that a peep sight in the string is the most accurate way to shoot, but I'm not willing to give up the visability that a peep takes away for hunting in low light conditions.
