Default CopperJohn Afterburner Light ?

Can someone suggest a way to keep the afterburner from vibrating loose from the sight housing when shooting? I know I could just remove it until time to hunt, but I like to practice with all things that I will take to the field. I tighten it down snug and in a couple shots it loosens up again. Would some of the blue locktite help or teflon tape maybe. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Aim for the boiler room. Bhunter32.

Put a rubber o-ring between the light assembly and the site housing and tighten it down good. That should take care of it for you.

On mine I just took a crescent wrench and carefully tightened it down.

Try blue or purple locktite. Buckeye also has a good idea with the O-ring.

My friend used loc tite on his light on his Sniper sight. Are there any light sights that dont come loose and rattle without these modifications?

Tune your bow and put on a good quality stabilizer like the stealth and it shouldent vibrate no more
